The conference was organized in two parts – morning part was full of various presentation while the afternoon part was covered by the official continuous SMS training with our colleague Margriet Bredewold. Also, the conference was streamed live to our online audience who participated around the world.

Welcome presentation was opened by Inxelo Technologies team which gave a brief history of how ICARUS started and how far we have come together with our customers. The next on stage was Margriet Bredewold from the company Co-Guard GmbH (Switzerland) and introduced herself as the SMS instructor for the conference. Margriet had an interesting topic of sociotechnical approach in Safety. After Margriet, our dear colleague and ICARUS representative for Latin America, Victor Manuel del Castillo presented his company Safety Management System Mexico and his career in aviation where he has now experience over 52 years! Soon after Victor completed his presentation, we had an online presentation by EASA’s Head of Safety Promotion, John Franklin who was very kind to share EASA’s presentation on Safety. Everyone appreciated a lot John’s effort and had some very interesting questions and discussion with John. Day 1 was completed by all customer presentation where we witnessed some intriguing presentations by our customers from around the world and how ICARUS helped them in Safety and Compliance.

Second day of the conference was slightly different as the focus switched completely on ICARUS. However, we had a presentation “5 SMS challenges” by Victor Manuel del Castillo, followed by Capt. Nadhem Alhamad and his experience with ICARUS in T3 Aviation Academy with afterwards colleagues from Mexico (Hector Barrera) presenting risk level assistant feature and Angelos Kyriafinis presenting Bow-Tie methodology and how its connected in ICARUS. ICARUS team then took the stage and presented the four new major features which will facilitate the usage of ICARUS in the domain of Safety and Compliance. Our colleagues Jakov Vidak, Nikola Cubelic, Mario Rudman and Marko Rados preparing and demonstrating the latest achievements in ICARUS. Day 2 was then concluded by an amazing Safety session by Margriet Bredewold.

Our entertainment part of the conference was scheduled for Day 3 and Day 4 where Inxelo Technologies team organized a trip to Croatian main attraction – Plitvice lakes. What an amazing experience it was to show all our customers and guests the beauty of Croatia! After Plitvice we visited the coastal city of Zadar!
